Mercedes G63 AMG: Our thoughts

When you get into the new G-Class, you immediately realize that you are sitting in a Mercedes. The interior can be described as luxurious and the workmanship is beyond any doubt. But the biggest argument to rent a G-Class is a completely different one: As soon as you start the engine, it is music to the ears of every V8 lover. No other manufacturer understands how to transport the sound of a car to the outside as well as Mercedes. The AMG performance exhaust system is a dream and can be quiet and comfortable as well as loud and swanky. The look of the G-Class has been exclusively revolutionized for decades and the driving experience in this bubbling monster can also be described more as rustic - But probably no SUV offers as much emotion while driving as the time-honored G63!

The Mercedes G63 AMG is the right supercar, if..

If you want to be the "boss in the ring". If you drive up in a G-Class, you're making a very clear statement. And you shouldn't shy away from the fact that everyone, but really everyone, sees you in it - conspicuously conspicuous! The driving experience is very difficult to put into words anyway, which is why our tip is quite simple: Rent a Mercedes G-Class today!

History of the Mercedes G63 AMG

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, also known as the Geländewagen or G-Wagen, is a luxury SUV that has been in production since 1979. The G-Class was originally developed as a military vehicle, but has since evolved into a popular civilian SUV known for its off-road capability, rugged design, and luxurious features. In 1972, Mercedes-Benz began developing the G-Class in collaboration with the Austrian company Steyr-Daimler-Puch. The vehicle was designed for the rigors of military use and was intended to replace the aging Jeep and Land Rover vehicles used by the German military at the time. The G-Class was launched in 1979, initially as a two-door SUV with a boxy, utilitarian design. Over the years, the G-Class has undergone numerous updates and redesigns, but its iconic design has remained largely unchanged. In 1999, Mercedes-Benz introduced the AMG version of the G-Class, which became known as the G55 AMG and featured a more powerful engine and a number of performance upgrades. In 2002, Mercedes-Benz introduced the second generation G-Class, which became known as the W463. The W463 featured a refined interior and state-of-the-art technology, but retained the rugged, military-inspired design of the G-Class. The W463 also introduced a number of new models, including the G500, G55 AMG and G63 AMG. In 2018, Mercedes-Benz introduced the third-generation G-Class, also based on the W463 platform. The new G-Class featured a number of updates and improvements, including a roomier interior, new suspension, and updated technology. The G-Class also retained its iconic design, with subtle updates to the exterior styling. Throughout its history, the G-Class has earned a high reputation for off-road capability thanks to its rugged design, all-wheel drive and advanced off-road technology. The AMG versions of the G-Class are also popular with enthusiasts thanks to their powerful engines and sporty driving dynamics. Today, the G-Class remains a popular choice among luxury SUV buyers, known for its combination of off-road capability, style and luxury features.
